If you have flown with the Faroese national airline, it’s likely that you have been served by the charming Bergtóra Nielsen.
Yesterday’s arrival from Iceland marked Bergtóra’s last flight as a stewardess after 34 years of service.
Atlantic Airways began its operations in 1988 with only one aircraft, a BAE 146. But the airline expanded quickly, and at one point it had seven aircraft.
